POST/content_snippets/{content_snippet_id}/tags

Add a tag to a content snippet

Applies an existing tag to a content snippet and returns the applied tag. The tag must already exist, and the authenticated user must have the manage_knowledge_base_content permission. The request requires the read_write_content_snippets OAuth scope.

  • IdempotentThe SDK sends Idempotency-Key, so a retried request is only applied once.

Error handling

A 401 is returned when the request is unauthenticated. A 403 is returned when the authenticated user lacks the manage_knowledge_base_content permission or the required read_write_content_snippets OAuth scope. A 404 is returned when the content_snippet_id path parameter or body id does not identify an existing snippet or tag. The body id field is required; admin_id, if supplied, attributes the tag to a teammate without changing authorization.
